From zero to one

We didn’t come up with inscriptions, clearly. Several chains, starting with Ordinals in Bitcoin already deployed similar versions of inscriptions that are booming their ecosystem. What sparked us to take this idea further is the fact that our team is composed by experienced developers with a strong bond to Polkadot and its values. We noticed one mistake in common: every single inscription is isled to it’s chain that is inscribed to. A inscriber could replicate it to other chains, that’s true — but that just enhance the lack of scalability and interoperability that other ecosystems outside Polkadot has.

With that in mind, we decided to use Polkadot’s interoperability features to inscribe assets in more than one chain, simultaneously and guaranteed by all the chains involved. The pilot is meant to initiate the movement and spark the community with endless possibilities.
